ColorBody and ThroughBody tilesColorBody or ThroughBody tiles are pretty much as it sounds. The top color of the tile is all the way through the tile. So a travertine colored tile will have a tan colored edge after you cut it. Same with a grey slate colored one or a white one. These are possible with porcelain tile because the clay used in them is more refined and actually holds the color that's added to it.
