On the occasion that you receive a product that you just don't like or that doesn't match your décor, our experienced customer service staff is just a phone call away and will guide you through our easy return policy.
World of Rugs & Furniture offers you a 14-day Risk-Free Trial on every item you buy! If for any reason you are not 100% satisfied with your selection, you may return it for an exchange or full refund whichever you prefer. You are responsible for return shipping charges. Personalized and custom-made items are, regretfully, non-returnable, unless there is damage or a defect in which case we will happily provide a replacement of the item you ordered.
How to return a product to World of Rugs & Furniture
To return an item you first need a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To receive your RMA number, please login to your account and under your account go to "View previous orders" or simply click here. Click on the Order Details of the order that hold the item(s) you like to return. You will see a section called "Returns" at the bottom of the order details.
Note: If yo do not see this section, please make sure that the item has been shipped. For items/orders that have not been shipped yet, you can not request an RMA number. In this case, please refer to the Cancellation Request further on this page.

Return Guidelines Once you receive your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, you must attach it to the item wrapped in its original packaging (or equivalent). Use a traceable courier of your choice (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to send the item to:

You have 7 days to return your item from when you are issued the RMA number. Unless the item is defective, you are responsible for all processing fees and shipping costs back to our warehouse. Items returned without a RMA number will be refused at the warehouse and shipped back to the sender. Area rug padding that has been opened may not be returned. Clearance, personalized, custom-made and sample items are not returnable unless there is damage or a defect. In this case we will gladly provide you a replacement.
All items must be received in new condition. If the item is damaged or soiled, it may be refused or incur a 25% restocking fee. Items returned after 14 days will incur a 25% restocking fee. In some instances after your order has been processed, cancellation or changes to the order will not be permitted. Any shipments refused for reasons other than damage may result in a 25% shipment refusal penalty fee. Do not fold or apply tape to any surface of the item or rug. If you return an item that applies for a restocking fee or penalty, it will be deducted from the refund.
In the event that a return becomes damaged on its way back to the return destination, World of Rugs & Furniture will inform the customer via email that the item was received damaged and hold the product for up to 30 days. It is the customer's responsibility to file a claim with the shipping carrier and instruct World of Rugs & Furniture concerning what to do with the damaged product. If World of Rugs & Furniture has not received notification or response from the customer within 30 days, the item will be donated or destroyed.
Items not eligible for returns - Custom orders (i.e. products that are built-to-order or any item labeled non- returnable on the product page of the Website).
- Special purchases, including: clearance items, inventory sale items, custom quotes, special discounts, etc.
- Any item that has the red security removed (including cut or clipped) or where it's modified.
- Any item that is not in resalable condition.
- Large orders: (Orders containing 10 or more of a single item).
When ordering large quantities, we suggest ordering a sample for evaluation. - Any item not purchased from World of Rugs & Furniture
Cancellation Request If you would like to cancel an order that has not shipped from our warehouse or one of our manufacturers, simply contact our customer service representatives toll-free at 1-800-349-7442 (local: 404-352-0072). We will then submit a request to the manufacturer for cancellation or look if your order can be canceled from our warehouse. Shortly after, you will receive an email acknowledging your cancellation request followed by another email either confirming the cancellation or stating that we were unable to cancel. Please allow up to 72 hours for confirmation of cancellation.
Please be aware that some items may have already shipped from a manufacturer and be in route to the distributor for final shipment to you. In such a case, cancellation fees will apply.
Once an order has already shipped, it cannot be cancelled, rerouted or redirected. If you would like to return the item, you will need to follow the "Standard Return Policy" as mentioned at the top of this page. Do not refuse the delivery of non-damaged goods as this will result in up to a 25% restocking fee. A delivery refusal may also result in the loss of your product and may void any possibility of a refund. You may also be charged for roundtrip shipping costs. Some items that are custom made cannot be cancelled.
Items on Backorder If you are canceling an order due to backorder, we recommend you first call our customer service department to verify the accuracy of the date before making your final decision. There are times when manufacturers have stated items as backordered, only to find that they have already shipped or are going out the next day. On the other hand, if the item is truly unavailable for an extended period, we sincerely apologize for the delay. Please understand that we work with many suppliers and are somewhat at their mercy to provide up-to-date stock availability information. That said, we are your voice and are leveraging our buying power to encourage manufacturers to improve their inventory levels and their technologies to provide improved service all the time.
Please note that since a cancellation request is time sensitive. Do not email or leave voice messages regarding your intention as it may slow the process down. It is important that you get a hold of a customer service representative toll-free at 1-800-349-7442 (local: 404-352-0072).
